If you can't find any interested parties this way, you could always hop online. There are a variety of sites out there that allow you to list your timeshare for sale, often for a fee. Before giving anyone any money, make sure you understand what you're getting. It also helps to check with the BBB (Better Business Bureau) to make sure no complaints have been registered.
Then, there are companies who only sell timeshares. Sometimes, they will resell your timeshare for you. Other times, they will purchase your timeshare at wholesale price. Make sure you fully understand all details of any agreement you're offered before signing anything. You might even want to retain an attorney to look over all the paperwork. While there are plenty of legitimate timeshare resellers, there are also those that aren't so trustworthy.
